The Products of the Bratsk Branch Of Ilim Timber, LLC got a Certificate for the US market according to the National STANDARD PS 1-19
In July 2020 Ilim Timber received the PS 1 certificate, confirming the compliance of the plywood produced by the Bratsk Branch with the PS 1 -19 quality standard. The PS 1 -19 standard was developed by the US Department of Commerce for plywood used in construction. The PS 1 certificate is a prerequisite for the use of plywood in frame housing.
The certification was carried out by the specialists of the American company PFS TECO and included an audit of the enterprise, the development of quality control procedures for the production of plywood, as well as qualification testing of plywood panels in a specialized laboratory of PFS TECO in Wisconsin.
Plywood samples testing showed a consistently high level of physical and mechanical properties of the product and successfully passed all tests. The representatives of the certification body noted the quality of the production technology and competence of the employees of the quality control service.
Each plywood panel, that has passed certification, will receive a corresponding individual marking. Official information on the compliance of the product quality of the Bratsk Branch with the requirements of the standard is published on the PFS TECO corporate website
