In February 2021, Bratsk Branch of Ilim Timber, LLC successfully passed an audit for compliance of its softwood plywood with the International Standard of the California Air Resources Board (CARB).

Audit was carried out by the specialists of the American company PFS TECO after six-month laboratory formaldehyde emission tests of plywood samples. According to the results, the company was granted the status of a producer that use ultra-low-emitting formaldehyde resins in manufacturing.

Existence of CARB certification is obligatory for plywood supplied to the U. S. Certification is valid for two years from the date of receipt and can be extended.

Official information on the compliance of the product quality of the Bratsk Branch with the requirements of the Standard is published on the CARB corporate website.

Currently, export footprint of softwood plywood produced in Bratsk involves 34 world markets. Export accounts for about 60% of manufactured products.
